Knaresborough

Knaresborough is a historic market town in North Yorkshire, and I discovered many of its hidden surprises here. From the castle to the pretty riverside, I show you some of the most popular and maybe secrets of the town.   Thousands of visitors come here every year for great experiences. Mother Shipton’s Cave is a must visit and the walk to the cave along the river is stunning. The White Horse

The White Horse is one of my favourite childhood places. It is in Kilburn, and once you have climbed the 140 steps to the top, the views of the Vale of York are amazing. On a clear day, you can apparently see the coast. For the full walk, is three miles long, and you can take different routes from,  into the woods and the visitors centre where you will also catch the gliders taking off from the hill side.   Continue reading The White Horse
