I revisit the famous street, La Ramblas which leads to The Mercat De La Boqueria and is one of the most famous markets that dates back to 1217.
Following along the route is the old town, where you can discover lots of different shops, musicians and street entertainers along with Barcelona’s culture and architect.
Visiting the Parc de la Ciutadella is a must, not just for the scenic walk to even get there, but once you are in, it’s so calm and relaxing after you have been in the city. You can see some amazing sculptures, visit museums and the zoo and take a relaxing boat ride on the lake.
Once you have finished the city, its only a short 10 minute trip to the beach. There are 4 main areas to pick from, and you can either relax, swim or see the old 1992 buildings from the Olympics.

My journey starts at the tube station heading towards the city centre. They are many different lines to different places and are every few minutes. My first stop to see and discover was La Rambla, where you can go shopping, see museums and head towards the beach.
The buildings are all unique with cultural and artistic talent showing everywhere. If you like exploring, the city offers some great walking trails where some lead you so quirky narrow streets.
I ended at the magic fountains and museums where the views of the city were amazing. As there is so much to discover here, I cannot wait to return and show you more of what is available to see and do.
