Christmas

 

I took to the streets of York to see their annual Ice Trail which showed 45 displays around the centre and Monks Cross.

The first Haxby light switch on happened last night. I was joined by Adam Coggin who also discovered some delicious bites.

York Castle Museum is gearing up for their annual Christmas celebration with their Victorian themed Christmas. There is plenty of events to go at, including the famous victorian street and of course, Father Christmas himself to spread the Christmas cheer even further and I was lucky enough to meet.

Hundreds of people gathered in St Helens Square in York to see the annual Christmas light switch on.

The event also marked the first day of St Nicks Christmas market.

Castle Howard is opening its doors to their Angels on High Christmas event where rooms are filled with Christmas themes and decorations.

With a 25ft tree and thousands of baubles, each room has something unique and different.
