I have returned to Helmsley for the third time, and this time I took a visit to the Helmsley Open Air Swimming Pool.
The Pool I would call a Hidden Gem on a summers day in Helmsley, you not only have the pool but the backdrop of the North York Moors behind.
I also got to meet Helen De Meyer who is swimming in every Lido in the UK and Helsmely was her 74th.
When you have finished cooling off, take a trip to the town, which has a lot of offer from historic castles, walled gardens and shopping.
