Aysgarth Falls is on the lower side of Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales. It has amazing waterfalls and stunning landscapes.
It’s on the river Ure, and there’s lots of wildlife to see. The rock pools here are a good way to discover insects and wildlife.
When arriving, you can see the visitors centre, with lots of history to read. There is a cafe in the building as well. Walking on the trail can take you in a few different directions. One to the waterfalls and the other is a walk through the woods to Bolton Castle.
The trail takes you on a scenic walk of the Yorkshire Dales. From the car park, it is just a short walk to the local town, with shops, cafes and restaurants.
