The White Horse is one of my favourite childhood places. It is in Kilburn, and once you have climbed the 140 steps to the top, the views of the Vale of York are amazing. On a clear day, you can apparently see the coast.
For the full walk, is three miles long, and you can take different routes from, into the woods and the visitors centre where you will also catch the gliders taking off from the hill side.
