Knaresborough is a historic market town in North Yorkshire, and I discovered many of its hidden surprises here. From the castle to the pretty riverside, I show you some of the most popular and maybe secrets of the town.   Thousands of visitors come here every year for great experiences. The White Horse

The White Horse is one of my favourite childhood places. It is in Kilburn, and once you have climbed the 140 steps to the top, the views of the Vale of York are amazing. On a clear day, you can apparently see the coast. For the full walk, is three miles long, and you can take different routes from,  into the woods and the visitors centre where you will also catch the gliders taking off from the hill side.   Continue reading The White Horse

York Tourist attractions

York has been awarded 7th best place to visit on trip advisor with attractions such as the national railway museum, York Minster and the grand re opening of the Yorkvik Viking Centre next month. 6.9 million people chose to visit York last year, spending 564 million on the city. Door 84 Youth Center

Door 84 youth centre is based in the groves and it is a place that welcomes children from every background. Converted from an old children’s home, the support this centre gives to people from GCSE’s to social skills is incredible. St Georges Day

St Georges day is celebrated in York every year, and this year they had a wonderful Morris Dancing celebration on the square. The Three Cranes, a local pub on St Sampson Square, hosted lots of entertainment inside, and outside the pub.
