The White Horse

On a clear day, you can apparently see the coast. Door 84 Youth Center

Door 84 youth centre is based in the groves and it is a place that welcomes children from every background. Converted from an old children’s home, the support this centre gives to people from GCSE’s to social skills is incredible. I caught up with the centre manager here who took me on a mini-tour. https://soundcloud.com/natalieeaglen/podcast-natalie-door-84-youth-centre Continue reading Door 84 Youth Center

St Georges Day

St Georges day is celebrated in York every year, and this year they had a wonderful Morris Dancing celebration on the square. The Three Cranes, a local pub on St Sampson Square, hosted lots of entertainment inside, and outside the pub. I caught up with the Landlord and he told me exactly what they were doing, and how they celebrated it. https://soundcloud.com/natalieeaglen/podcast-natalie-st-georges-day-three-cranes Continue reading St Georges Day
